Welcome to Youth Liturgy

Christ the King’s High School and Young Adult Liturgy Team helps to plan and organize the celebration of the monthly Youth Directed Mass, celebrated on the Third Sunday weekend (Saturday Vigil) of each month at the 5:30 Mass. The Youth Directed Mass features members of the Christ the King’s youth community serving in various different liturgical ministry roles, as well as music provided by our very own Youth Band, Choir and Orchestra.

As part of the planning process, the Youth Liturgy Team will explore the readings for the Mass, discuss the main themes, choose relative music for the celebration, and invite other members of the youth community to be active participants in the liturgy. We invite all members of the parish community to join us at the Youth Directed Mass each month.
